The importance of Gas Safety Certification

What is the 'Gas Safe register?'
The 'gas safe' register is a list of qualified gas engineers who have gained qualifications, skills, and knowledge concerning gas safety and are legally qualified to work on boilers, cookers, and other gas appliances. Gas Safe registered tradesmen will usually display their accreditation registration number and the Gas Safe yellow triangle logo on their vehicles, paperwork and other materials such as business cards.

If you use a lettings agency, it's very important to establish whether you or they will organise Gas Safe Certification and maintenance. We're happy to work with you or your lettings agent direct. While annual inspections are the law, we'd recommend having appliances checked between different tenancies, too - we're always happy to advise and can keep you abreast of the latest legislation.
